Mrs. Paddy and I joined some friends in Temecula yesterday to do some wine tasting. It was close to 100°F, but not bad in the shade with misters running.
Sven -- don’t overdo things in the heat today and stay well-hydrated.
It has been hot here as well. Yesterday we got up early to go to the cemetery where Elena’s nephew is buried. It is about an hour away and the family wanted to go there before it was too hot. I has been about a years since he passed. I don’t usually go to such but I went to the funeral/burial and I went yesterday, for the sake of his mother.
As I try out this VPN I noticed an interesting side benefit. The Fox news website has become very annoying to use as I get constant adblocker popups. I disabled my Adblock+ app on their page but they must want me to disable the adblocking on my security and browser, which I will not do. It has become bad enough O look in much less, but with the VPN I have not seen even one. I assume the site can not detect my adblocker over the VPN. Nice!
Everything I have tried works fine so far. I was concerned about my streaming programs but they seem to work fine. It did not cost much and was very easy to do. I only paid about $12.00 to add it to my Malwarebytes subscription for the 8 months, and it will add about $25.00 to my two year renewal on 1Mar2025. I have several security programs but the Malwarebytes with active protection seems to have been the most effective and least intrusive for the years I have had it.
