I got a recall notice from Honda for Mrs. Paddy’s car. The fuel pump impeller was improperly molded and may wear out, causing hard starting, hesitation, or complete failure while driving. Two things: 1) the recall was issued in December, and B) they don’t have enough replacement parts, so this was just a “heads-up” -- they’ll send us another notice when they have enough parts so that we can bring the car in for repair. Great.
And that is an example of great timing.
