I was watching some of the convention last night and what struck me was that Trump is now the leader of the Republican Party. That definitely wasn’t the case in 2016 and only slightly better in 2020.
I’m surprised that those believing that Trump wasn’t shot the other day and that the whole thing was staged by Trump, haven’t brought up “blading” to explain the blood from his ear. Given Trump’s relationship with Vince McMahon and his participation in some pro wrestling events, it would be natural for them to go there.
I wish it were hard to believe that anyone who held such a belief was getting any sort of exposure, but that’s the state of politics today. They should be held up to public ridicule.

The diversity hire at the head of the USSS has admitted that she ordered no one to be on the roof of the building that the sniper fired from because the roof had a slope and that made it a safety concern. Instead, she put three counter-snipers inside the building.
