My teacher/neighbor got the job at the last school I drove her to, so I am leaving in a few minutes to drive her again. Later I will go with her while she drives. The drive is long, about 45 minutes, but in a nicer area than the others and fairly simple, so I am glad she got this one. It should be much better than the other two we went to.
You must be wrong. I recently commented on a website that California had an overtaxed grid and was already having rolling blackouts when we left, and a nice leftest told me everything was great, that the grid was upgraded, there was plenty of extra power, and the service was reliable. Much better than primitive Texas.
Hope your power is back on, Paddy, and stays on for a while. We’ve been lucky so far, but I’m sure that we’ll get ours -- or rather not get ours -- in due time.
Texas has its own grid problems -- I talked to my friend in Houston last week after Beryl blew through and they had days without power and then intermittent service. Of course, that was a hurricane, not just hot weather.
Thankfully power has been on continuously since the last, brief, outage.
Mac -- I bet that leftist doesn’t live in one of the areas of California that is regularly scheduled for rolling blackouts. Currently there are 14 power outages in LA and Orange Counties and 431 scheduled outages -- and that’s just SCE, not including LA DWP.
The left loves to say how January 6 was an insurrection, but I don’t know what they call their effort to remove their duly chosen presidential candidate. Likely just business as usual.
And the weekend arrives.

well, maybe one hour and five minutes the way we are going, but she will avoid tolls every day. These can add up.
Happy Electrolux Saturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac.
We just got our power back on -- it was out for a couple of hours.
Mac -- I’m glad your friend got the job. You’re a Good Gerbil.
Our power has gone out two more times. Great job, Edison!

Hello, Paddy. You are a good man, Mac.
The left loves to say how January 6 was an insurrection, but I don’t know what they call their effort to remove their duly chosen presidential candidate. Likely just business as usual.
