I’m in meetings all bloody day. I’m not sure how they expect me to get anything done.
My friend Dave texted me yesterday, letting me know that one of his sisters had passed from lung cancer. His brother passed earlier this year from brain cancer and another has breast cancer. He’s been estranged from his siblings since they settled their father’s estate. It seems that their father had taken out a reverse mortgage in the sum of $300k to fund rehab for the oldest sister’s son. The father never told anyone except the oldest sister. When the house was sold, their was $300k less than expected -- due to the reverse mortgage -- and the oldest sister let everyone know that Dave, as the executor of the estate, had stolen the money. It’s really a sad situation.
