Didn’t notice, but no natural gas at our houses. Gas company just showed up -- it’s been shut off since 7 this morning -- a contractor cut through a line 6 feet deep a quarter mile from here. It will be another 4-5 hours and then they have to come in to check things out, house by house.
Gas back on -- everything checked out OK. The tech said he’s been getting some grief from people -- no need for that. It was an accident, not their fault and they are working it as fast as they can.
We’re the same regarding appliances. Glad everything checked out OK. As you said, no need to give the techs grief. It’s not their, nor the company’s fault. All things considered, that’s a pretty fast restoration of services after a line break. Glad no one was injured in the break.
Hmmm. My Check Engine light came on in my truck, but it all seems to be running well and fluid levels are fine. Also, both of our cell phone mailboxes are locked. Lots of broken things around here today.

If you have a gas water heater that could be rather inconvenient.
Yeah, mostly gas appliances -- hot water, dryer,stovetop, oven. Still waiting on them to show up.
