Over in my world, I expect to be out of a job by tomorrow. Things between my manager and myself came to a head yesterday and for the first time in my professional career I’ve had to involve an HR department. Could I have handled things differently? Perhaps, but knowing the culture at teh bestest place ever and describing the situation to a couple of people that I trust there, yesterday was a continuation of an effort that started last month. If I didn’t escalate yesterday, I’d be in the same boat next month.
So it goes. I may get off with a suspension and PIP, but I don’t think so. I have few allies left and none in my department, and bottomline, I can’t work for this guy.

Thanks, guys. Have a meeting with all concerned parties tomorrow afternoon, so we’ll see what happens. This is one of those situations where I’m right (of course) but that likely won’t matter. My boss is in CYA mode and I was supposed to be the cover part.
