No, it’s gone beyond that, due in no small part to the way I acted Friday. At the same time, I’ve talked to several former employees over the years that were fired unfairly, including one person who had been there more than 25 years, and none of them had anything good to say about HR.
Monday should be interesting, or not. No idea on how they will handle it.
Met a friend for a beer at the one local bar I frequent when I frequent bars. Was talking to the owner and i had met her son, an army guy, a couple of years ago. She told he’d just been promoted to Command Sergeant Major- I said wow, good for him, and that’s like the same rank Tim Walz retired at. She shot me a look and said “Fuck him.”
