I was texting with Teh Younger -- he’s putting up a ceiling fan in his girlfriend’s condo and had a wiring question. They’re getting rain and 20mph winds presently. Unlike with Helene, this time his apartment is in a mandatory evacuation zone, so we’re really glad he decided ahead of time to evacuate.
Talked to a friend of mine in Texas -- the election came up and she’s not a Trump fan. We talked for a bit and I didn’t turn her, but she did say I’ve pushed her towards “maybe.”
It looks like Milton is going to hit Sarasota, sparing Tampa Bay the worst of it. Most of the spaghetti models also showing Milton traveling south of Titusville, although they will definitely get high winds and rain.

We talked to her earlier this afternoon -- she was hunkering down with friends and a bottle of wine. Prepared as best as they can be.
