Our Santa Ana wind event has started -- from what I can see it’s not going to be a major blow, but I won’t be surprised by either 1) a fire, or 2) a power shutoff just so SoCal Edison can get some practice time.
I watched Trump’s appearance at the Al Smith dinner last night -- it was quite funny. Funnier still were the reactions of the crowd -- Chuck Schumer took the jabs in mostly good spirit, but Bloomberg was an unflattering study in disdain. Trump has his faults, but you can’t say he isn’t self-confident.
