I’m not in favor of America’s role in the Russia-Ukraine war. 1) We had no treaty obligation with Ukraine that we would support them should they be attacked. 2) They aren’t a member of NATO, so no collective treaty obligation. 3) This is a European war/problem -- they should be taking the lead on it. 4) Ukraine isn’t an ally -- they are just another European country.
Going back 20 years to the WOT, Bush was pretty clear if you harbor terrorists or supply them, you were fair game for US retaliation. Russia is making the same argument and what form that will take is murky, but it won’t be good. I don’t think he’s bluffing.
Disturbing questions. As much as I have held him in contempt since the 1992 election, his policies seem at odds with what he has pushed before. His personal style, lying and copying, seem the same but worse with age, but his policies seem the results of younger and more radical fanatics, either his handlers or Obama. I have had this impression since his campaign.
It’s been pretty clear for awhile that Obama has been pulling the strings in this administration. Anything he can do to reduce the power of the U.S. he has done. In this instance, I think part of the plan is to direct more funds to friends in the defense industry. Geopolitically, destabilization seems to be the goal.

Good morning, GN.
The real start of WWIII? Ukraine firing US-supplied missiles into Russia. Good job, Brandon.
I am strongly for supporting Ukraine, but it does look a bit like if he can’t be the big guy, he will just burn it all down. The timing seems strange.
Considering Brandon’s mental state, did he make the decision himself and if not, who did?

Good evening, friends. Not a good day at UCLA for Mrs Sven today -- she needs more tests.
I am sorry, Sven. Wishing for the best.
I’m sorry for you both. Please give her my best. I’ll keep you both in my prayers.
