I wish our officials could be trusted to make such calls but I don’t think they can be. I think Jan 6 showed that.
The loss of trust in ALL institutions is the biggest problem facing us right now. And that’s not on us because we watch FOX News or listen to Joe Rogan. Government in particular has been shown to be corrupt, inefficient, and dishonest. It will bite all of us when there is a real emergency and we choose not to respond/react because of the lies they’ve told for years.
