Yesterday mid-day, I started feeling like I was coming down with something. I was cold and felt feverish, but my temperature was, and is normal. dv8 -- it sounds like the downward force on your garage door is exceeding the limits. You could always increase the force using the adjusting screw, but finding the source of the problem is a better idea. Depending on the type of drive you have, there may be a rough spot in the drive screw, the grease may have hardened, or there’s a rough spot in the drive track. If you have a roll-up door, you should also check both side tracks and rollers. Of course my thoughts are fuzzy right now, so I may just be rambling.
