Haven’t watched The Train yet, but did kill 100+ minutes watching the 2024 movie Civil War. It came out last year to some fanfare and controversy, but it’s really a crappy movie. The plot makes little sense and I cared nothing for any of the characters.
We went out last night and saw a bunch of 70’s bands -- the headliner was the Atlanta Rhythm Section preceded by Firefall and a guy named Walter Egan. Really wanted to see ARS, but I’d give them only a meh rating. They did a short set with some highlights, but the southerness and grit of the band was gone completely -- I can cut them some slack as they’ve been performing for more than 50 years, but still…

I get it. Some bands -- or what’s left of them -- seem to be phoning it in these days.
