Trump-Zelensky. There’s something to be said about not airing your dirty laundry in public. Sometimes you want to see how the sausage is made, but this was not the time. Mistake on Trump’s part.
I wish that Trump was the type of man that could say “I don’t respect you; you don’t respect me. We don’t have to like each other to cut a deal to end this war.”
Beyond the war likely continuing, Trump’s given the left a talking point for 1) His failure to get a deal done, and 2) His attitude. Couple with the stupid Bondi-Epstein document release that wasn’t, this is a bad week for our side.
Unless of course this was all theater and a deal will still be cut later today.
