Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac!
I’ve got a blood draw scheduled shortly and I’m not looking forward to it. Decades ago I developed a vasovagal response to giving blood and blood draws (I get warm, sweaty, experience tunnel vision, and will possibly pass out). Not fun. I have no problem with needles or the sight of blood, so I don’t know why this happens.
That was the easiest blood draw I’ve had in decades. The phlebotomist had me lay down for the procedure. She had excellent technique and didn’t keep poking and jabbing. I tensed my legs and abdomen and never felt light-headed, let alone what I normally experience.
Thread pic: Relatable.
Good morning, GN. I admit I was impressed with the pun-haiku efforts yesterday.
Caption should be “F my attitude, I’m a gerbil!”

Nope. Not going there.
Good on you.
If I said I was pleased with the results, would that make it a happy ending?
