Thread pic: are you kidding? Start dieting just before Thanksgiving? And then there are all the Christmas cookies and parties and feasts. No, this isn’t a good time to start a diet. I’ll have to wait until the first of the year.
I always expected to gain during the holidays but a number of times I was surprised to lose some. Right now my weight is lower than it has been in 12 years, but I suspect that relates to the medical issues. The season should be interesting.
The wound doctor removed the wrap from my foot yesterday. I am keeping a gauze pad on it with a 20 mmhg compression sock and a 20 mmhg sleeve over that. I am still using the cast protector in the shower to keep it dry until the skin heals and gets thicker. I want this to last this time. I still have the cover on my back. I will see him next week as a final follow up. I REALLY want this to work. Nine months with an open wound is enough.
Happy Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!

It sounds like you’re making progress, Mac. That’s a good thing. Keep up the good work!
Good on you, Mac -- moving in the right direction!
I found an eviscerated rat carcass in my front yard today. Probably our local red-shouldered hawk.
