Good morning -- Mac, regarding the Portland video -- I’ve never been there and so have no basis for comparison, but yeah, it looks pretty bad. I do wonder what percentage of the city is like that.
I was only there once, for a couple of days, when we went to visit the Gentle Harper and DV8. It seemed a beautiful city with charm and character. I remember the modern hospital seemed to dominate the city but there were very charming stores and shops. They took us to Powell’s book store, quite an experience. I saw nothing like what the video shows. I feel so bad for and worry about some good people I know are still there.
We are glad to be gone from there. Most people don’t know this but this has been building up since a few years before we left--which was in 2014, I believe.
Members of our old household are still there, sort of.
Linux Rob has since moved to a very Pro Trump county adjacent to to very left leaning “Tri-County” area. So he feels much safer, and he has his son with him now, as well, which seems to be working out well. Linux Rob Junior is a hard-working guy and they all seem to be doing okay there.
Jerry the (now ex) Communist is still living fairly close by to where we used to live. He supports Trump now, he tells me. Columbia University has done irreparable damage to his mind, but he seems to be coming back from it. It’s pretty dangerous where he is at, he tells me he’s afraid to go outside right now.
Our old neighborhood--although nowhere close to downtown--was trashed by Antifa a couple of months ago. So our old house was in the middle of that mayhem.
I am glad to hear about Rob and his son. I have been worried about them. I am sorry about the rest of the household. It makes it especially irritating when I hear people say things are fine there and the trouble was just a Fox news lie.

Happy Don’t Eat the Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
Mac -- great video. Portland was once a beautiful city. Leftists destroy everything they touch.

I hope they aren’t in the area where the riots have been.
I don’t know the areas but one of Harper’s group, a fine young man, was hurt by those jerks. I am glad Harper and dv8 got out.

Wow! Thanks for the update, dv8. Prayers for everyone’s safety.
