Yesterday’s thread pic brought to mind Frank and Moon Unit Zappa. She had his identical sense of humor. They were hilarious and very charming in interviews.
Once again, neither of my computers are able to get through to tehsqueak.com with any browser. (Haven’t tried using my phone, as thumb-typing is a PITA.)
Just wanted to let you know that we’re okay here in Happy Larryville; we’ll “see” you whenever this issue is resolved.
PS: Miss Brenda loves the beautiful Capodimonte 18-cats figurine I gave her for her birthday so all is right in the world.
I think I mentioned using TOR and/or something “Onion” related if you have a mac related product. This has to be something about the hosting company. But I just use TOR when I have a problem with the wheel, because it has no persistent DNS cache.
You can also try flushing in whatever way your OS allows, but your ISP’s DNS cache is probably the culprit so that might not matter.
PS: The Wheel was off for me last night--must’ve been, I should say--because in the morning on this PC the wheel tab was blank. but when I refreshed it it was up by then.
I have found personally the best way is to leave your phone in portrait mode (like the kids do) turning ON predictive text, but turning OFF auto-complete. Then you don’t get the wrong words, but you do get the line of predicted words that you can tap in order to speed up your “typing.” That seems to work fastest for me. I’ve given that suggestion to a lot of people of various ages and they all seem to have liked it--so far.
Happy Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, dv8, Sven, and Mac!
I’m sorry the poor pupper lost his balls. It’s been known to happen.
Sven -- we’re still up in Sonoma. We’ll drive back on Monday. I bring my laptop because it’s easier to look at maps, find restaurants, read reviews, etc. than relying strictly on my phone for those tasks.

Spammy stole my comment. I guess because of the link. Everything is a little wonky since Jerry “fixed” everything.
But at least I can get into the admin page now.
PS: Thanks Jerry for all your support and hard work for all these years. I don’t mean to make light of it.
But… having worked in IT, basically what always happens is you keep doing updates until something breaks.
In some cases, it’s better to just leave updates off if everything is working, unless there are features in the updates that you want.
Hi, Dv8 -- happy weekend, GN.
Glad you had a good trip, Paddy -- short one though, eh?
It seems that once again MS has updated their OS to improve things and that’s leading to all kinds of problems on my end.
An email update from Fatwa --

Naughty Sven.

Also: Re typing on a smartphone:

alternately, you can get a Bluetooth keyboard--mine cost 10 bucks and that speeds things up even more if you are a good typist.
I’m sure Brenda, his OS (Omnipotent Spouse), allows only one way of flushing -- completely.
It may be the Capodimonte lever on the terlet that causes Fatwa to only partially flush. Just spit-balling here.
