No Zionist space heat ray fun for me last night; sad!
Had a rough day yesterday.
Things have deteriorated with the Hell’s Half-Acre situation and the adjuster for our bonding company is a corrupt, inept fark-up. We received correspondence Thursday claiming that he completed his “investigation” into HH-A’s specious claim and was going to send them bastards $7,500.
Yet he never bothered to get JimCo’s side of the story, despite Jim’s and my repeated phone messages for him; we’d called him to render assistance, as we did nothing improper and wanted to help this POS do his damned job.
So, much time was spent yesterday crafting a written response directing him to NOT pay one damned penny to HH-A along with detailed supporting documentation.
I’m (literally) enraged by this adjuster’s behavior and will now do my best to ensure that he winds-up living under a fucking tarp on a shit-covered street.
Not joking; I want him hopeless, despondent and living in penury.

Hi, Fatwa. Sorry for this latest turn of events, but is it now officially over or is this just one more nail in the coffin with more to come now that one settlement has happened?
Happy Dancing Pupper Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Fatwa!
Sven -- I hope your eye is feeling better. Constant pain is not a joke.
Fatwa -- I’m sorry you and Jim are having to go through this. It makes you wonder how many other clients he’s screwed over because he can’t be bothered to do his job.
Hi, Paddy -- thanks. It’s not so much constant pain as the uncertainty. My last thought before I fall asleep is wondering whether I’ll be up in a few hours with my right eye screaming at me. It’s anxiety, much like I’m Hunter Biden wondering if I’ve lost another laptop.
Went back to read yesterday’s thread; unhappy to read your eye’s still giving you problems; hope UCLA can sort it out and that it doesn’t cause you much discomfort until your appointment with them.
Re the claim against JimCo’s surety bond:
Mr. Lazy Shitbag Claims Adjuster was directed yesterday to NOT pay the ambulatory turds at HH-A. We received no response, so we have no idea if it was -- or will be -- paid.
There are zero legitimate grounds to pay out a penny from our bond. (Jim’s never had a claim against it in more than thirty years ’cause he’s not a screw-up. The bond only covers stuff like taking money for work not successfully completed; it’s not like liability insurance and is limited to only -- in our case -- $7,500 per occurrence.)
We think it’s highly improper that HH-A even went after our bond for damages they allege we caused; they’re just filthy, money-grubbing scum who are mad we didn’t agree to play their stupid settlement game. (And who refuse to accept that the HOA’s responsible for construction defects, not JimCo.)
It’s a good thing for some bad people that I don’t have any super powers. 👿
Well. Back on TOR. I had a good connection that let me see thread pix and everything, but I accidentally closed it, so I haven’t been able to get a good TOR circuit back again that was as good as the one I had before.
So After the big route, on Thursday night, mostly sleeping has taken place. Sleeping and some cooking.
Woke up this morning, and decided to make fried rice out of my Mexican soup. Strange Idea, but came out extraordinarily well.
Strained out the ingredients,
chopped them up into smaller pieces.
Cooked some pork belly,
Scrambled up some Eggs.
Heated up some peanut oil in the wok
toasted 4 cups of basmati rice in the wok.
Used the broth with the toasted rice in the rice cooker
stirred the bits in
seasoned with Soy, Fish sause a bit of salt water, mirin, etc.
Was very tasty, but I made way too much, so I gave most of it to my friend Steve and family, who is still refurbishing his new house.
Your fried rice sounds good. Glad it turned out well.
When I was working for Hughes Aircraft and taking trips down to our plant in Mexicali, MX, I learned that there was a large Chinese population in that border town. Apparently when Chinese immigration was halted in the late 1880’s, the Chinese did what people are doing today -- they entered Mexico, then made their way north to cross into the U.S. illegally. As large groups of Chinese migrants gathered at the border, some set up shop, providing things the Chinese couldn’t normally get in Mexico, like food from home. Anyway, one of the engineers I worked with down there was Alberto Wong. A favorite lunch spot was Loncheria Dona Chuy’s -- serving authentic Northern Mexican cuisine. For Chinese food you had to go to one of the Chinese restaurants. We’d usually arrive about the time the cooks were eating their lunches -- which always looked much better than what was offered on the menu.
I’m not sure what prompted me to turn my soup into fried rice, but I just woke up with the idea. Maybe some scrambled eggs and soy sauce for breakfast tomorrow morning along with some of that fried rice reheated in the wok.
Interesting times, indeed. Some people always got the same, familiar, safe thing to eat at lunch. Dona Chuy would walk up to our table, point to each person and announce what their order was. When she got to me, she’d stop, squint, and say “You, I’m not sure about” in a somewhat accusatory tone. I’d ask her what she recommended that day and usually get that, which eventually earned me some grudging respect.
Good news today: “This is a message from Ventura County Elections Division. Your ballot for the upcoming September 14, 2021, Gubernatorial Recall Election has been mailed to you. If you haven’t received your ballot within 7 business days, please contact us.”
With Afghanistan collapsing, much butchery from the islamonutjobs is sure to follow. Since this under Biden’ watch, I wonder if we’ll be seeing any o fit. It will probably be labeled “misinformation” and censored.
Happy Saturday, GN! Fatwa must be sleeping in again after a long night of aiming lasers.
Caturday compliments, Wheelizens!

I’ve often said, it’s a good thing for the entire left wing of the country that I am not a billionaire.
Use your imagination………

Hi, Dv8 -- that doesn’t sound bad at all.

Did it have your name on it? Or the previous occupant of the Mountain Redoubt?
I read that Hunter Biden crashed Obama’s bday party cuz he heard it was a super spreader event.
He’ll be here all week, folks! Be sure to try your waitress, and tip the veal!
For some reason The regular browser started working shortly after my last post. So I can see the thread pic now.
