Sorry I missed some substantive chat yesterday. Have my hands full dealing with HH-A HOA carp, and even moar carp from the other big job we did last year. Oh, well…can’t fix homeowners and Board members who are wastes of skin and oxygen.
But they sure make JimCo’s job a lot more difficult…not to mention gumming-up the works when it comes to investigating alleged problems. Wish we could just be “nice guys” and easy to do business with, but -- with these morons -- we simply cannot.
Fortunately, I don’t mind if despicable people perceive me as being an asshole. 🙂
A corporate meeting at teh bestest place ever today. Rather unsurprisingly, they’ve put their covid mandate plans on hold pending further evaluation. On the really plus side, they are giving store workers a $2.25/hr pay increase for the next two months for working thru this latest covid scare. They are also adding MLK day as an official holiday and adding a week’s worth of vacation for everyone going forward. Used to be you started out with 2 weeks vacation; now 3 weeks for your first 5 years and after 5 years, bumped up 4 weeks from 3.
I complain a lot about this company, but their benefits have always been pretty good.
