A few days ago, we discovered that there were some 5 more seasons of “Supernatural” that we had never seen, so we’ve been enjoying them when we can.
We had a pile of sweet potatoes languishing in the garage, so Harper cooked them up with some spices and sweetened them up. Today, I added custard to them and made a couple of pies out of them.
Good morning, gentle Gerbils. It is 23 degrees now. It should creep up to 24 around noon and then start down again. This evening it should drop into the teens. Pffftttt!!!
Hope you are all safe today. We have been prepping for the next few days so should not need to leave the house.
The wide wheels make that worse. They are nice on dry asphalt but not this. I don’t drive until I see paving. Elena’s car would be better, being FWD but we should be fine in the home.

I took our two cars in for their annual safety/smog inspection to renew their registrations. Elena’s car passed the inspection but blew the radiator, so it is in the shop for a week or so, depending on the shipping from Houston. I guess the timing was good as we will not be driving for a few days anyway. Nice blanket of snow this morning and as the high today is 24 degrees I expect we will have it for a while.

We enjoyed Supernatural until the last couple of seasons. The first 3 or 4 are really excellent.
You’ll have to tell me what you thought of the series finale when you get to it.

That’s a nice bit of snow -- pretty.
Be careful driving that pickup. It’s awfully easy to spin 180 degrees, and awfully hard to get it back facing the way it should be.
