Happy “Man This Robe Is Scratchy” Wednesday, GN!

All is (mostly) well at CasaK; been very preoccupied this week with various carp so I’ll have to catch-up on all o’ y’all laterz.

Per conference call with lawbaw yesterday, he’ll be filing a Demand for Arbitration re HH-A HOA. (Which never responded to his nastygram.) While we probably won’t get any punitive damages -- even though he agrees we should -- they’re gonna be paying a lot in lawyer and mediation fees along with our severely overdue invoice.

Assuming JimCo prevails, of course…which is likely, given this is basically now a straightforward breach of contract matter. Our “legal” system doesn’t provide much “justice”.

At least H-HA HOA will pay some sort of price for members of their Board being venal assholes

(Unfortunate our society frowns upon clearly aggrieved parties exacting the proverbial pound of flesh; else I would happily travel to L.A. to do just that…IDGAF. There’d be some savage “old man on old men action”.)

Has the HOA thing been going on for over 2 years yet? It seems like that long.

Good morning, Fatwa -- hopefully this all will end soon with a “victory” for you guys, but I’m guessing the amount of money won’t come close to the amount of effort expended.

The men swimming in women’s competition thing -- makes me think of greyhound racing where the dogs chase a mechanical rabbit. Consider that a man in the race will encourage the women to swim harder.

Happy Friendsday Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!

Or is this “Take a Furry to Work” day? I always get those two confused. That may explain some of the looks I get from cow-workers.

Fatwa -- one step forward. It’s an unfortunately long process.

Sven -- as long as the fake women get participation trophies, and nothing else, I’m fine with your idea.

So, my cow-worker has been gone for the past two weeks (I believe her mother is passing) and was only half-there for a few weeks before that. Of course all of her work falls to me and her boss always seems too busy to take on any of the load. I’m getting seriously burned out, especially when I’m inserted into situations and have to dig out the background information.

After over a week, I got the wheel again on suddenlink without using TOR.

I want to run my own DNS, but I’ve been too bogged down and fatigued to implement it.

I think I’m going to buy a copy of SimplDNS plus, because it’s the easiest to configure. But I haven’t decided yet.
