Fresh Hell Friday (the 13th, BTW) greetin’s, Sven, Paddy and dv8 (and Harper!!1!)!
dv8 --
Sorry you had a carptastic night.
===========================
Plenty of hell -- fresh and otherwise -- at this end. Dropped Brenda off for chemo. Filled up Harald teh Yukon before prices go up again. Went to Walmart and saw many more items which have been price stable for years up 10-15% over the past ten days. And lots of stuff which is still out-of-stock.
Great Value eggs were $2.90 / dozen; JFC!
Die, Brandon, die. And the devil take your administration plus the entirety of the U.S. Congress and all of the alphabet agencies.
Don’t get me started on the HH-A HOA’s latest shenanigans (which we just learned about late yesterday). Another conference call with lawbaw on Monday.
Burn. It. All. Down. And. Make. The. Rubble. Bounce.

Life lesson: When you opt for humane/live rodent traps instead of the more lethal variety, they are only “humane” when you remember to check them frequently. Or so I’ve heard…
The florist shop Mrs. Paddy worked at a long time ago had a rodent infestation. I placed several traps around the shop and succeeded in catching a number of the little buggers. Another employee found the traps and threw them all away, because they were “cruel”. She replaced them with “humane” traps covered in very sticky glue-like material with bait at the center. One evening we heard a mouse screaming because it couldn’t get out of the glue. That was enough to convince Mrs. Paddy that those weren’t humane. We threw out the rest of the glue traps, didn’t tell the other employee, and I hid the spring traps better.
We use glue traps, but I never considered them more humane, rather the opposite. We mostly catch insects, spiders, lizards, and snakes, but the occasional mouse gets caught.
I don’t know about rats but most mice I have seen in spring traps were killed instantly by the impact. Glue traps I may need to kill them when I find them.
Thank you, Paddy. My attempts from Photobucket all failed. They play in Photobucket but not the link. Most work now. I even reuploaded this one and it did not play.
Happy Friday, GN! -- what fresh hell awaits us today?
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
What fresh hell awaits us? Why I’m sure if we just wait a bit, we’ll find out!
Teh Older’s fiance flies back to S. Carolina today. It’s been nice having her out her for an extended visit.
Hi, Paddy. Is a date set?
Not yet. Teh Older is still trying to get his employment situation settled and find affordable housing (don’t laugh).
Good morning, everyone!
The Mail went horribly last night, so when it came to the Big Route, I did only the biggest stops and will finish the rest after I sleep a while.
Nitey nite.
Sorry to hear that -- get some rest.
Our wedding anniversary today -- 33 years. Hard to believe how quick the time has gone.
Happy anniversary! May God bless you with many more!
happy ani!!!

Hi Mac!
This attempt, as well as your previous attempt to post the mousetrap video succeded.
Yeah for the mice!
My humane traps are truly that -- tubes with bait and a trigger at one closed end and and a hinged opening at the front.
