I woke up yesterday at around 3pm. Called a friend and said, “Let’s go out to dinner” (We ended up getting philly Cheese steak sandwiches at a local place in cottonwood)
On my way down there, I stopped at my Doctor’s office. I tried to do some blood tests for my upcoming doctor’s checkup. Those tests were a bust. A lot of failure going around lately. After sticking me three times and blowing up a few veins, I decided enough was enough and I’d just go to a lab today instead.
Those tab techs stick people all day, so they’re usually better at this kind of thing.
I had just awakened, and hadn’t had any water. But that’s USUALLY the state that I’m in in the afternoon when I run out and do blood tests.
Best leave blood drawing to the pros, and skip the “amateurs.” That’s my advice.

dv8 -- I agree regarding blood draws. I don’t like them in the first place and like them even less when someone is digging and prodding and getting nothing.
