Happy “dogs vs. cats” Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

Sven -- I hope your day goes well and that you don’t have too much work piled up.

Two weeks ago our Director of Business Development asked me to help our assistant principal and our director of special education with submitting a funding request for some of our special education students. The request was due yesterday. I sent them an email saying I’d be happy to help, when would you like to meet? Having heard nothing from them by Monday of last week, I sent out another email, reminding them of my offer to help and the deadline. I sent a second follow-up on Wednesday. On Thursday, having heard nothing, I began collecting the data we would need. On Friday the AP said the Dir. of SPED and I could take care of the task. The Dir. of SPED said she wanted the AP involved. Meanwhile, I completed the paperwork and updated the Dir. of Bus. Dev. Monday afternoon (yesterday) I submitted the funding request and sent out an email to that effect. I’m glad I didn’t wait for those other two, although I’m probably going to have to do the same thing, next year.

Large organizations appear to be the same no matter the industry.

It’s funny that Dylan Mulvaney is essentially an affront to women and yet it’s primarily male beer drinkers that are leading the Bud boycott. Since Mulvaney is also a spokesman/influencer/whatever for other products that are primarily women-focused, it’s odd not to hear more women speaking out.

True, but I would have thought feminists would be tired of all the mansplaining.

And once again proving that whatever a woman can do, a man can do better.

I thought I said Hi today.

But I guess I didn’t.

I’ve got work soon. I’ve been cooking all day.

I do not appreciate all the time it takes.

This is some insane bullshit right here. Former Raiders WR Henry Ruggs Submits Plea In Vehicular Manslaughter Case (msn.com)

On November 2, 2021, Ruggs was under the influence and driving at 156 mph on a 45 mph road when he struck a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Tina Tintor. Both Tintor and her dog passed away as a result of the crash. Police also say that a loaded gun was found in Ruggs’ vehicle at the time of his arrest.

“Passed away.”??? The woman he killed burned alive in her vehicle.Three to ten years does not seem just at all.

156 mph in a 45 mph zone? Misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter? That’s just messed up.
