I can’t believe how long it’s taking to get over this respiratory tract infection. For the last couple of days I’ve been coughing up carp and my throat is rubbed raw. I’m heading in the right direction, but I’ve got to say that getting old is not for the faint of heart.
My cousin Robin, who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer several months ago, had been doing really well. She went into the hospital this weekend and it was discovered her cancer had come roaring back. Today we learned that doctor’s are giving her only 3-4 days. Her parents are devastated, as are we all.
