A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
Dinner with the extended family went well. There were no arguments, or even discussions, about the apartments and no passive-aggressive comments about past actions by family members, living or dead.
I woke up at 2 in the afternoon, and I got so cold (in the house) during this heatwave, that I jumped back into bed to get a what I call a “cold ticket,” so I could get back up and warm the place up and get properly dressed, etc.
I ended up falling asleep for until around 6:00, I think.
I gave the herbs some water and saw that there was a package of vitamins outside from Amazon. I haven’t gone out since.
I thought It might be a good time to call my Mom, so I did that and we talked for about an hour and a half. We had a nice time talking. It’s about 114 there, but that’s not unusual for the greater Phoenix area at this time of year.
I remember not being fazed by the 118 degree temps as a kid. I would think nothing of it and run around outside all over the place.
I’ve been unable to reach my internet provider via my phone’s internet. I believe this, and other sites not being available may indicate that significant internet infrastructure resources may be down. I expect things will be less congested on my Verizon phone’s internet as the hour grows later.
Good morning, GN.
That’s good news, Dv8. Good luck, Miss Harper.
Thanks to everyone who has been praying for us.

Well… My Internet is out again.
I’m on my PC using my phone as a tether.

Also Lycos appears to be down, at least for me; not sure how that bodes.
