Relocation. My preference is to move out of CA; Mrs Sven is uneasy about leaving CA. I’m willing to look at Northern CA if that’s the compromise needed to get out of SoCal.
I was living in Elk Grove, a little South of Sacramento, and working at Titan’s shop in Grass Valley, about 70 miles away, when I found The Wheel (actually Don’t Hire Deb).
Happy Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac!
Man, it’s been a busy morning! Work has been going in all directions!
I checked the election results and it looks like Steve Garvey did better than expected. Of course when it comes to the general election, I’m sure the Dems will pull out all of the stops to get their votes submitted and California will have another far-Lefty in the Senate.
Garvey’s definitely a long-shot in California. Unless he can make a case why he is best for California and Schiff is just more of the same wrong policies, he’ll lose 64-32.
Cats being subtle and innocent while pillaging those that extended the claw of friendship to them.
Mac, where did you live in CA before moving to Texas?
I lived in the Sacramento area, Elk Grove. Before that in San Jose.
Thanks. Couldn’t recall.

We bought our house in Elk Grove in 1999.

Sadly on the Garvey front, he didn’t gather more votes than all the Dem candidates combined, but he had a good showing.

A Republican in California is much like being a Raider fan -- we are use to losing.
I can’t argue with you there.
