Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
SOTU, Weekend at Bernie’s edition? Have they been loading up the dried husk with meds to get him through it? Will it be the shortest on record? Will he be able to make it down the aisle without tripping?
It will be prefaced throughout msm as the “most important speech of his presidency” and afterwards as “he knocked it out of the park” regardless of objective reality. He’ll be doped to the gills with whatever cocktail his doctors have tested out this year.
It is a small town near here. I have driven through it. It was a settlement near early Ft. Worth that extended into Indian territory. It was not in regard to black residents as there were black slaves among them, it was known to the local Indians and to others as “the white settlement.”
I watched some of the Ashleigh Merchant, attorney for Michael Roman, testimony yesterday before the Georgia committee regarding disqualifying the prosecutors in the Trump election interference case. Some new information came out, but mostly it was the same information just presented in a more coherent fashion. My bet is that both Fani Willis and Nathan Wade are done with the case, but I don’t think they’ll let the judge make that call -- I think that both of them will remove themselves voluntarily this week or next.
I would not have my shocked face on if both of them are cutting deals behind the scenes to leave voluntarily and avoid obstruction/perjury charges and then play the victim card to the hilt.
I had choir rehearsal and Slow Joe was even slower than expected, so I only caught one minute of the SOTU when I pulled into my church parking lot. I expect I’ll read the usual “analysis” tomorrow -- “greatest speech ever”, etc.
If I were a cat, I’d be a bit nervous viewing that thread pic.
Happy SOTU Thursday!
Kudos to Brandon’s doctors -- they got the right mix of drugs to get him through his speech. I hope they keep doping him up and his heart fails.

“White Settlement Public Library”????
What about all the library’s patrons that have cat allergies? I’m sure they don’t allow peanuts on their grounds, but a cat???

The snowflakes that are allergic to cats can read e-books. Browser rules!
