Watching Jack Tatum the last couple of weeks. He’s 8 years old and I think starting to feel his age. He’s not injured in any fashion, but he’s moving slower.
Our squirrel is outside in his enclosed playpen watching the other squirrels and animals and getting a look at what will be his “home.” He’s gotten quite a bit bigger, but is still smaller than the young squirrels in the yard. He’s aggressive with us now, and more playful, but he needs to be with his own kind. His diet now includes more vegetables and a hard staple called “rodent block.” He’s not stupid -- he’s figured out zippers and has made a few prison breaks. Nurses less, but still takes a bottle a couple of times a day. Pees regularly and his scat looks good and firm, so the digestion thing is working.

The installation of the temporary crown went well yesterday and I get to go back in two weeks to get the permanent one.
