Watching in the background the hearing featuring Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle on the assassination attempt -- she’s playing the “ongoing investigation” card so nothing is going to come out of this. A week and a half later and they still have nothing of substance to say -- the usual political bullshit.
The question I haven’t heard asked that needs to be asked is when will your investigation be complete?
Somebody finally asked the question and the answer is “60 days.”
Sven -- I’m real tired of administration officials saying to congressional oversight committees, “I can’t comment on ongoing litigation” or things similar. When will someone get the stones to say, “Why can’t you?”. “Do you think your department policies trump congressional oversight?” Then hold them in contempt and user the power granted by the Constitution to drag the obfuscator to the well of the House or Senate and force them to answer questions or go to jail.
California real estate. There’s a house for sale near us built in 1939. It’s a cute little cottage that needs some work. Two bedrooms, one bath, and 900 sq ft. Asking price is $725,000. The lot size is 7200 sq ft, so not like any amount of land comes with it.
If everything the left said about Trump were true, it still wouldn’t be as bad as what the dems have done in the last two years of this election cycle. I wondered about this:
“That debate was a set-up to convince Democrats that he couldn’t run for president,” the family source said Monday.
The early debate could not have been Brandon’s idea -- it had to have been pitched to him somehow and by someone he would listen to. I hope that he is perhaps pissed off enough, or that there’s someone with some dregs of integrity left that will leak out that name.
The man I’m very disappointed in is President Bush. I know he at the very least intensely dislikes Trump, but I thought he’d have enough integrity and smarts to see what is going on and speak out. What’s going on now goes way beyond politics.
Happy Monday, GN. What interesting box of hell awaits us this week?

Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

So, in other words, a bargain.
Has anyone considered the effect of Biden’s withdrawal on the value of “artwork” purchased from Hunter Biden?
That’s a good point. I guess it could go either way?

Very true.
