Sven -- does it feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders? Do you think they’ll keep you employed for the full two weeks, or pull your admin rights and let you go immediately?
Hi, Paddy. It does indeed feel like a weight is off of me. I’m comfortable with my decision and there just isn’t a scenario where I would choose to stay on even in another department. The efforts that appeal to me and the people that I would like to work with all struggle under the same lack of management support and direction that’ I’ve experienced over the years. I’d be trading on untenable situation for another.
The smart move on their part would be to pull my admin rights, at least, today. There’s stuff I can do without them, but I have no idea what’s in their minds. I’ve given up trying to figure them out.
Happy Monday, GN.
Gave notice -- now I’ll see how long it takes teh bestest place ever’s powers that be to open and read an email.
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

I’m employed for two weeks -- until 10/11. Reading between the lines, me leaving is the outcome they wanted.
Not surprising, although I am somewhat surprised that they aren’t just paying you off for the two weeks and having you leave immediately.
