I just paid me electric bill. This should be the last of the high-energy bills now that the hot weather is going away. We pay on a tiered usage model. The baseline energy cost is $0.33/KWh. If we exceed our baseline amount, the price goes up. I also got our monthly energy efficiency report from SoCal Edison. Our range, dryer, water heater, and furnace are all natural gas powered. Our electricity usage is routinely lower than “efficient” similar homes. What I find interesting is that the baseline summer allowance is 441KWh and the “efficient” homes average 472KWh of usage. Something tells me that baseline needs to be adjusted. Of course it never will.
Coons -- good at a lot of things, including meditation.
Good morning, GN.
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
It’s been a busy week at school, and next week is going to be even busier.
