I know Jack Tatum isn’t coming home, but I still check the animal shelter website every few days to see if somehow he got picked up. All those poor abandoned cats -- very tempted to give one a new home and I don’t even like cats.
Apparently our outrageous basic cable bill includes free access -- with many many many commercials -- to a few streaming apps. Before we dump basic cable, I thought to activate some of them and explore. On Hulu, there’s a series called Only Murders in the Building that stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. It’s about three misfits living in a luxury apartment who have a true crime podcast as their common interest. When someone is murdered in their building, they decide to investigate it themselves and do their own podcast.
I’m at a total loss, both because I’m dumbfounded and because I’m so infuriated. I’ve seen some crazy things come out of the mouths of judges over the years, and certainly that’s escalated over the last several months of lawfare against the Trump administration. But I’m not sure I’ve ever seen something this psychotic from the bench. Boardman actually suggested the attempted assassination of a Supreme Court justice was a good thing because it led to the “gender affirmation” of a deranged lunatic. It’s not only a new level of absurdity, but she doesn’t even attempt to hide her motives.
