Sven -- getting back to normal is a goodness.
Next week is the last regular week of school, with the first week of June being final exams. Students are all of a sudden interested in improving their grades. I’ve given a few students a list of assignments they can re-do (they basically turned in a blank page the first time) and told them to email the assignments to me directly rather than upload them in the curriculum. I’ve received nothing so far and don’t expect much by the end of the semester.
I recall that when California pols were trying to outlaw .50 cal rifles they were asked how many crimes were committed with such weapons and could not come up with even one example. So this seems quite reasonable rather than satire.
