On the health front, I’m feeling much better this morning. I was able to get out of bed without pain, which is a blessing. Now I just need to make sure I don’t overdo things today.
On the PC front, I was able to create a bootable USB drive using a 3rd-party tool (Rufus), but all attempts to repair the SSD failed. I tried booting into the command line and running chkdsk, but it would only run without the repair parameters (disk write protected). My next efforts will be to copy the drive, then reinstall Windows.
Very happy you are in less pain. That really sucks the joy out of life.
Good luck with the reinstall. I hate having to go from scratch. It has been long enough I probably should do it, but it is such a pain getting everything reinstalled and sorted out. Sometimes I have compromised, using an older image and just updating everything. At least if I can’t get everything sorted out I can reinstall a recent image.
