Happy Mexicans are taking to the streets of LA to celebrate some world cup win. By ‘celebrate’ I mean they are waving huge Mexican flags, blocking traffic, jumping on people’s cars as they attempt to drive by, and chanting stuff. So far, nothing is burning.

Perhaps I’m far too cynical for my own good, but I find it hard to get excited by Trey Gowdy for doing what every member of that entire damned committee ought to be doing: calling out a corrupt, stonewalling scumbag for being a corrupt, stonewalling scumbag. Unless and until heads actually roll, I’m chalking it up to “…sound and fury, signifying nothing.”
