We have a 50% chance of rain today and for the next couple of days!
Yes! Rain! Glorious rain!
Hopefully not to be followed by mudslides, inglorious mudslides.
With the likelihood of rain in SoCal, I’m hoping that a certain unit at a particular South-of-the-Boulevard HOA in Sherman Oaks leaks like a freakin’ sieve in the next several days. Because I am not a Good Gerbil. 😉
Additionally, I know how badly that rain’s needed; may this be a relatively wet winter out there.
Watching the birds in the backyard; we have a flock of California quail that have been hanging out the last couple of weeks. Don’t often see them; at least a dozen of them running around. Also figured out what has been killing some of the birds in the yard and leaving feathers behind--looks like a hawk has decided to go after the birds on the feeder.

Little bit of rain falling now, but it looks like this will blow through today. The bigger storm is supposed to hit tomorrow night and into Tuesday.
Well it is raining here. Some showers an hour ago and now a steady drip drip drip.
