Wow! Is that the smell of fresh shavings? I see the bar was moved with minimal losses of bottled and canned beverages, although someone tried to hide a can of haggis behind the coconut milk.
If Obama was a deeper thinker than he really is, he might take Balko’s advice. I think Obama will look to make political hay out of this in his favorite arena where he can stay above the fray and sadly note his disappointment in everyone that isn’t in lockstep with him.
The problem with Obama and his legacy is that in his mind, it’s all in his mind. His legacy, as far as he is concerned, is whatever he believes it to be. Objective opinions from historians and other learned individuals, won’t mean dick to him, and once he defines his legacy, a whole bunch of leftist sycophants will agree with him and write massive tomes supporting it.
What will his legacy be? He fought the good fight, won his share of battles against the seemingly overwhelming forces comprised of the racist, rich, greedy, white, and Republican forces arrayed against him, but in the end he was thwarted from achieving his full potential.
In the end, he’ll still be disappointed in us, the American people, but he still accomplished great and wonderful things. Blazed new paths. Changed America forever. Set the bar so high that no future president will ever reach it.
The computers at a Los Angeles hospital have been down for more than a week after ransomware ended up on its internal network. Patients at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center have been transferred to other hospitals because of the outage, and connected medical devices and portals are offline, as well. The attackers have reportedly asked for more than $3.6 million to decrypt the system and the hospital’s files, CSO reports. Staff are now having to turn to fax machines and landline telephones to get work done, and medical records are being kept on paper.

But I also think that dim bulb in the WH is starting to worry a bit about his legacy. (Which concerns me; desperate people do cray-cray things.)
