Regarding the college kids say the darndest things video from yesterday, all I can say is thank god these kids are in college where they will learn, after 4-5 years, that a 5′ 9″ white man is NOT a 6′ 5″ Chinese cucumber. Because that’s what college is for, right?

Sorry about the cake. This hot weather not only caused the icing to start slipping, but it shrunk the gun to the point where the shoulder-thingy that goes down touches the magazine clip. That’s going to make it awfully hard to change calipers.
Has anyone heard from our Texas gerbils? News footage of the flooding in Houston looked very very bad and more rain is expected today. I’m especially worried about Mac and Little Mouse and hoping they are dry and safe.
Mac, Little Mouse, RabBiT, and BW should all be fine. Their part of Tejas has only received about 3″ of rain this month. I hope TeX and Mr. TeX are okay.
Looks like Mac is starting to feel better since I found a boat load of posts scheduled.

Belated birthday greetings to TeX and continued birthday wishes for Sven!
We aren’t flooded, but will have rain off & on till Thursday.
Hope that those who are recovering from whatever are doing better.
We had some rain but nothing harmful. Thank you for the concern. Little Mouse is getting better, though we spent three hours in the emergency room Thursday night because of an allergic reaction to the pain meds. We have better meds and she is improving each day. I am tired.
