Mac’s thread GIF looks like it’s from an infomercial of some sort; anybody know what the product is?
I worked on a direct marketing campaign once and learned a lot about why the ads tend to be so amateurish, formulaic and ham-fisted…short version is “because it works”.
In addition to writing the copy for a “celebrity endorser”, I recorded the announcer tags (and had a hard time not laughing in the booth because the producer wanted it so “totally over the top”.) I wound-up performing it as though I were doing a parody, which made everyone happy.
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Mac!
You know, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had a yuuuge bowl of cheesy-poofs resting on the arm of my recliner while talking on my corded phone. Or how many times I’ve been sitting on the sofa, eating dinner off a TV tray, watching the big game. Sure enough, the big play happens, you jump up to celebrate and zowie! you send the polska kielbasa flying! If only there were a product to solve these problems!
Happy Yoonyun Goon Appreciation Day, Wheelizens!

Hai, Mac and Paddy!
Heh! Good find!
While I’m no “green”, I am a little concerned about SMOD’s environmental policy.
