Gearing up for another day of Trump Outrage. Folks at work are becoming more open in voicing their disdain for all things Trump and it’s coming primarily from management, not rank and file. The term “hostile work environment” keeps popping into my head. Heh.

As Sven noted, the Trump outrage seems to be growing, not abating. Frankly, I’m getting tired of correcting people on basic facts. I know that’s part of the playbook -- shout down any opposition -- but sometimes it’s just not worth it. I’m also tired of keeping my opinions in check.
I hope RabBiT is getting better and I’m glad to hear that Mac’s check-up was positive.
I have a question that perhaps the better educated Gerbils can help we with?
We are not two weeks in and Trump is already JUST LIKE HITLER or AS BAD AS STALIN. It would seem by the end of the month he will pass VLAD THE IMPALER and by March only Damian the antichrist or Satan himself will work for comparison. Where do they go from there? Do we dig out Lovecraft’s Elder gods? When you have flogged Hitler and the Devil to death, how do you describe Trump? Factors? HITLER TIMES FIVE!!! TWICE AS BAD AS THE DEVIL!! These just don’t seem to have the right ring. They can compare him to Reagan and the left will nod their heads knowingly but rational people will just be confused or amused.
The usual idjits seem to have hyped themselves into a corner. (On top of rendering the word “racist” meaningless over the past couple of decades; when everything is “racist”, nothing is.)
Aside from Damian and Lovecraft, there’s nowhere to escalate.
The left’s meltdown is amusing; I wonder how long they can keep it up.
It’s a good question, Mac. When you’ve already taken your rhetoric up to eleven, where do you go from there? I think they move towards literature and fiction: Hannibal Lecter, Voldemort, Alien, Predator, etc..
And speaking of the Left, today’s installment of WE HATE TRUMP from teh bestest place ever was a solid mocking of Trump and his first WOT casualty: a Navy Seal killed in a raid in Yemen over the weekend. The helicopter snafu was also cause for scoffing, as was the unintended killing of an 8-year old girl during the raid. Man, that Trump is an idiot; he f*cked up everything; first raid and it’s a disaster; etc.
Funny that I never heard a peep from these guys when Obama accidentally bombed a hospital in Afghanistan or about the number non-targeted persons killed by the former drone happy POTUS.
The Left is becoming seriously unhinged--they ought to learn to pace themselves, but that won’t happen. I figure that they’ll just become more violent.
