We just polished-off some corned beef hash (Hormel; not makin’ that from scratch) and eggs (over easy; broke mine but HoneyLambK got good ones, which is as it should be). 😉
Our country appears to be continuing the process of going off it’s collective chump; my misanthropy grows stronger each passing day.

Interesting that this agent was killed with a gun obtained through the “botched” Fast and Furious gun-running scheme and yet that’s only mentioned rather obliquely:
The shine from The LIGHTBRINGER purifies even evil things like guns, even when they are given to evil men to further a political agenda that will not bear honest scrutiny. His intentions were pure so any evil or dishonest act is virtuous.
We are blessed to have people so much wiser and smarter than ourselves to run our lives. Those foolish founders with their ideas about liberty almost ruined it for the true believers all over the world.
I find myself not getting much worked up over stories like this:
HAYWARD — For the second time in two months, agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have picked up two undocumented immigrant construction workers who were on their way to work in the morning and are holding them for deportation, leaving their wives and American-born children in limbo and their communities shaken.
While I understand wanting to bring your family to a place where you have a better opportunity, you knew the risks when you took them -- hoping they’d never be applied to you.

We had a great time yesterday -- did some hiking, went out on the lake, tasted some great local craft beers, relaxed.
