I wish I could say that I’m surprised by this, but I’m not: Raiders’ RB Marshwan Lynch fined $10K by the NFL for an onfield obscene hand gesture, either flipping the bird to a fan in the stands or another player, during last week’s game against the Titans, but sitting on his ass during the National Anthem isn’t even worth a mention.

I took Mrs. Paddy to the airport early this morning. She’s flying out to Virginia with a work team from her church. They’re helping to finish up some homes damaged in flooding last year.
Fatwa -- some people have all the fun.
Sven -- the NFL’s player standards have been seriously out of whack for a long time and I don’t see it getting any better any time soon.
