I think I’m having eye sympathy with Mac. Woke up 4:00 this morning with shooting pain through my right eye -- this damn scratched cornea just isn’t healing up. And for some unknown reason, the song Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is playing through my head. Thankfully, I’m not humming some damn BeeGees song.

I will resist the urge to post a few BeeGees videos -- mostly because I don’t want those tunes playing in my head, either.
Teh Older is leaving for a professional conference in Santa Barbara today. With the price of gas in SoCal being so outrageous, it’s cheaper to take Amtrak.
I suspect it’s the semi-annual changeover in gas blends, which used to be particularly notorious in CA due to multiple blends required in different parts of the state. (With different summer and winter formulations in each area.)
If that thread kitteh looked like a prophetic raven, that would really be something. 🙂

I appreciate that, Paddy and yes out of the blue gas seems to have jacked about $.50 per gallon in the past week.
