Decided to mow the consarned front lawn agin afore it gets too danged hot. (Unfortunately, GoodWifeK hatez deserts, so replacing the lawn with gravel and cacti ain’t an option. No xeriscaping for CasaK means mo’ mowing for Fatwa…) 🙂

I just got back from the desert -- the students put in almost no effort on the math test they took today, so I was able to leave earlier than expected. Good thing, too. The region is expecting high winds starting in a couple of hours -- 30 mph steady, with 50 -- 60 mph gusts. It was already getting windy when I left -- 10 mph in the city, but a good 20 mph out on the freeway.
Tomorrow morning I drive out to Lawndale to test another student.
Fatwa -- have you considered replacing the grass with Georgia-native plants and flowers? You could then tell the lurvely BrendaK that the entire yard is one giant bouquet, just for her.
So Paddy’s in Palm Springs and Fatwa is probably raking in that roofing money and Mac is resting up, so that means teh wheel is all mine!
And a wasted opportunity as off to work I go. Wishing all a productive and honest day. Poof.
