Sven -- I’m sure that story will be swiftly shoved down the memory hole. It wouldn’t support the narrative to report that anarchists are trying to blow up detention facilities (how would that affect the detainees they claim to support?)
He was described locally as a committed anarchist and antifascist. One friend of twenty years, Deb Bartley, told The Seattle Times she and others had received letters from him which read “just saying goodbye” along with what she described as a manifesto.
She added: “I think this was a suicide. But then he was able to kind of do it in a way that spoke to his political beliefs… I know he went down there knowing he was going to die.”

Can’t make an omelet without, erm, breaking a few (dozen? hundred? million?) eggs.
On the other hand, if it were a Christian attempting to blow up an abortion center?
It’s really an odd time in our country. Stuff like this though gives me hope.
If only more people would talk to Congress that way. Push-back is long overdue.
