Looks like my payment to ZOG is finally coming through — rain Tuesday after a 90 degree dry Monday.
Sven --
Yup, we’ve got it scheduled, but delivery is contingent on your check clearing tonight. (Since we received your payment after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, it was not processed over the weekend. Sorry…them’s the rules.)
Mac’s thread pic reminds me of a character in the animated “Earthworm Jim” series named “Evil The Cat”. (Watched a few eps of that years ago as I was slightly acquainted with one of the composers on the show.)
1) Too hot
2) Too rainy (intermittent)
3) Drought
3) Windy and fiery (intermittent)
4) Shaky (also intermittent)
5) Just right
6) No electricity (intermittent but becoming more common)
7) Just enough moisture to make the roads terrifyingly dangerous
Ready for action. I remember reading long ago, one Southern California town decided after the Watts riots, that their police department should change from revolvers to semiautomatics. It was not to give them more firepower, but because a young hoodlum had held up a mom and pop store and killed both people. A police officer chased him into an alley and the guy started shooting at the officer so the officer shot him three time with his .357 Magnum, ending the fight. There was an uproar about this teenager being shot an excessive number of times by an “elephant gun”. The city council decided the sight of bullets carried on the police equipment belt was too traumatizing for citizens so they bought automatics, S&W Mod 39 9mms, for the officers so the cartridges would be hidden in the magazines. The police chief went to a local junk yard to test penetration on car bodies and windshields and was not impressed so they allowed officers to buy 1911 .45 caliber autos modified to use semiwadcutter bullets (this was before there were effective hollowpoint loads for auto pistols). So a military auto holding 8 rounds of .45 was OK because the delicate eyes did not have to see nasty bullets in loops on the belts of evil police.
It makes me wonder if that is incompetence or policy (which would still be incompetence but at a higher level.)
Does it make you feel warm and safe, being in such good hands? I will sure count on them and turn in my guns real soon. Pffftttt!
I heard a rumor that Gov. Noisome Nuisance Nutbag Newsome submitted legislation that requires -- in the name of social justice -- that the government provide pistols to all illegal aliens.
It’s all so dopey; most of the garbage which gets dumped into the ocean comes from Asia -- especially China -- and India.
The U.S., with our madcap “disposable, consumer culture”, only seems to account for 1-2%. (Which is not wonderful, but c’mon…)
Re the straw bans, you might Google the name “Milo Cress”; all of that stupidity is largely based on the “research” of a nine-year-old kid. (Not trying to vilify a child, but I’ll happily vilify the adults who jumped on board with that, erm, garbage.)
I have also read that the floating plastic situation is quite exaggerated. But I don’t really know. Oddly, Linux Rob is an expert on water of all kinds--with an auto-didactic equivalent of a doctorate degree. He regularly unintentionally fools other doctorates into thinking he must be researching at a university or something because he knows so much and knows all the lingo.
I didn’t know that, Mac. A bit before my time--at least before a time when I was interested in such things. The Watts riots were mid 60ies. I was maybe 5 years old? So I remember hearing about them in retrospective stories, mostly. Whenever the government does anything we usually get screwed.
When Reagan did his Amnesty thing for the illegals in the mid 80s, that was also the beginning of you and me and all other citizens having to show ID to get a job. Interesting enough, I have met a few employers who won’t do it because they think it’s unconstitutional or otherwise don’t agree with doing that.
I’m tired. Good topics for discussion today, boys. I need to come back to them as i mull things around. In the meantime, came across this from Hank Williams Jr. Just amazing.
Oh joy…MONDAY!

Off to work and ZOG it wasn’t my fault the check was late -- I blame USPS.

Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
90°F yesterday and it’s supposed to be only 60°F on Wednesday -- who says California doesn’t have seasons?

4) Shaky (also intermittent)
5) Just right
6) No electricity (intermittent but becoming more common)

You’ll know why I posted this when you see it…

She’s ready in case the perp -- notice the dangerous straw he has? -- tries to take her gun.
If it was California is it even legal for a LEO to resist a criminal trying to take their gun? What if it is an illegal alien?
Heeeeeee!
It’s funny because it actually could be CA law these days.
I heard a rumor that Gov.
Noisome Nuisance NutbagNewsome submitted legislation that requires -- in the name of social justice -- that the government provide pistols to all illegal aliens.Even better would be one gummint provided pistol loaded with one gummint provided round…placed on Gavin’s desk.
Sometimes the old ways are best. 👿
Those straws are killing the oceans, you monster!!1!
Yah, I don’t really get it. The plastic straws are recyclable, but paper ones are not.

If I were a betting man, I’d put $1.00 on “incompetence”.
Sorry to hear about that forthcoming boating mishap, Mac. 👿

Also: “Good morning,” gerbils.
Mac, Paddy, Fatwa, Sven, Lurkers, maybe.
Thinking about fragmented culture. Like, so many people have specific media sources.
1) Like I watch a guy called Donovan Worland with only 1900 subs on YouTube. Just a guy with a big brain who makes interesting connections.
2) Styxhexenhammer666 on bitchute
3) Tim Pool on YouTube
4) Pewdiepie on YouTube
5) 99 bux a year to daily wire. My one extravagant media gift to Harper…
You get the picture. We all can get our media tailored to us, these days.
What does it mean for us as a society?
Any thoughts?
N stuff…
On another note, why does my formatting not show on here?
Oh I get it now.
No formatting that I can see, Dv8.
I’m tired. Good topics for discussion today, boys. I need to come back to them as i mull things around. In the meantime, came across this from Hank Williams Jr. Just amazing.
There’s a lot of truth in Hank Jr.’s ballads.
good stuff!!
