Here’s Tower of Power’s “Taxed To The Max” so you can “happy dance” to teh Post Office and submit your tribute to our kindly, caring gummint. ‘Cause hey…at a certain point, you’ve made enough, right?
Taxed to the max, but we can’t get the facts
They just tell us what they think we ought to know
(We get) Taxed to the max, but we don’t get it back
Someone tell me where the money really goes
A local report on the anti-gun rally I was at Saturday. I think they overestimated the numbers-we counted about 45 protesters and we were there for almost the entire event.
In this photo, you can kinda see me and my buddy behind the traffic pole across the street-that’s my arm and shoulder to the left and my buddy wearing camo shorts to the right next to the girl with the green sign.
The LA Kings are still in 4th place with six games remaining. Unfortunately, they are in the playoff picture by only 5 pts and each of their remaining games are against the teams breathing down their necks. Bad feeling that they won’t hold on to that #4 spot and could conceivably get bounced all the way out-they have been sloppy lately.
And the race of those people would be? I’m guessing black.
Yep…they comprise a rather large percentage of the “inner city Democratic machine” nationwide. (And put Prop 8 over the top in CA in ’08; I wonder whom they dislike more -- gheys or jooooooos?)
Here’s a weird Joooooish connection that I came across.
The story: “El Pozolero”: A legacy of death by Tijuana´s “Soup maker”.
In January, Santiago Meza Lopez, was arrested by Mexican authorities.
” Meza Lopez was asking indulgence from the relatives of all the people he dissolved during nine years, first under the orders of the Arellano Felix cartel, then under those of the Sinaloa cartel when El Teo switched sides.
“El Pozolero”(The soup maker), that´s how he was called inside the organization, because he was in charge of getting rid of the bodies of the war that was being fought in Tijuana over the drug routes towards the United States.
“Dissolve”? He is alleged to have disposed of over 300 bodies in barrels of acid over a ten year period-for which he was paid $600 a month.
In January 25th, 2009, Santiago Meza Lopez shared his recipe to make “Pozole”, it include two empty oil barrels, several pounds of caustic soda, latex gloves, gas masks, and a pair of “teachers”, supposedly brought from Israel.
They decided to bring to people from Israel who knew how to dissolve corpses in acid. They trained a group of men, including Santiago, who in those days used to take care of drugs that were to be smuggled to the United Stated.
Doesn’t sound kosher to me.
Like the Gosnell story, just not something that the media seems inclined to cover even tho it was going on within walking distance of our southern border-and these are the types of ‘immigrants’ that cross into our country with impunity.
As long as they didn’t use “dairy” oil barrels or latex gloves, it might be okay. 😉
Wonder why they had to engage Israeli experts, ‘tho. (If I were more of a cynic, I might suspect Señor Lopez of playing on the prevalent -- if pretty low-level -- anti-semitism in Mexico.)
Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
B-52 prototype?
Heh…beat me to it, Paddy.
Heigh-ho, fellow tax slaverinos; happy “Pay Your Fair Share (Or Else) Day”, GN!

Crank it up and fork it over, kids!
One of the commenters at reason.com posted this lovely little gem over teh weekend:
Heh..truthiness is often quite pointy; I look forward to using that one to asplode a few heads every now and again.

Ugh. Tax Day again? It seems like it happens almost every year around this time….

As long as they vote for Democrats, who cares what they do?
If his recipe called for caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), then he wasn’t dissolving corpses in acid -- just the opposite.

May I just say that Dianne Feinstein is a disgusting crusty ol’ bint?
‘Cause she is.
Yes indeed.
And because I am -- as BetterHalfK says -- “a bad, bad man”, I’d add she’s also a twunt. 😛
